The Optimist is one of the most popular sailing dinghies in the world, with over 150,000 boats officially registered with the class and many more built but never registered.
BODA (the Bermuda Optimist Dinghy Association) aims to increase an interest in youth sailing and to create life-long sailors, through the support of the Optimist class in Bermuda.
